On the first day of Korea's Covid-19 mask mandate being almost completely lifted, many people continued to wear them.

Starting Monday, people no longer have to wear masks when taking public transportation.

Masks are now only required at facilities that deal with people in critical condition, including hospitals.

A survey by Hankook Research conducted last month showed that even with the lifting of the mask mandate, 75 percent of respondents said they would still chose to wear a mask on public transportation.
