Blackpink's Jennie became the first solo female K-pop artist to have a music video surpass 900 million views on YouTube as of Monday, her agency YG Entertainment announced the same day.

“Solo,” released in November 2018 as the lead track of Jennie’s first solo album of the same name, took four years and four months to reach the 900 million milestone.

Blackpink as a whole now has seven videos on YouTube that have surpassed 900 million views, with “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” (2018) garnering 2 billion views, “Kill This Love” (2019) at 1.7 billion views, “Boombayah” (2017) at 1.5 billion views, “As If It’s Your Last” (2017) at 1.2 billion views and the "How You Like That” music video and practice video both surpassing 1.2 billion views.

The girl group is currently holding its second world tour, “Blackpink World Tour [Born Pink],” which started in 2022 with performances at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul on October 15 and 16. The girl group visited 14 cities and held 24 performances across Europe and North America, and now is hosting its Asian leg of the tour, performing in Thailand, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Taiwan and more.

The band is also set to headline at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April followed by the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival in the United Kingdom in July.
