Girl group Billlie is coming to Japan.

The band will make its official Japanese debut on May 17 with a Japanese version of its 2022 hit track "GingaMingaYo (the strange world)," according to the band's agency Mystic Story.

The single will include "GingaMingaYo (the strange world) - Japanese ver. -," the Japanese version of "everybody’s got a $ECRET" (2022) and the instrumental version of the two respective tracks.

"Billlie was the No.1-searched K-pop girl group on Yahoo Japan last year and has been named one of the Korean bands to look out for by the Japanese press," the agency said.

"Billlie will be holding various promotional events in Japan in tandem with the release of the Japanese debut single, including mini live sessions, meet and greets and photo sessions with fans."

The band's member Tsuki will also start a K-pop radio program in Japan on April 8. She will be the lead host in a program titled "ENT.VIEW" on Japan's channel OBC to introduce K-pop songs and culture to Japanese listeners.

Billlie debuted in November 2021 with the EP “the Billage of perception: chapter one.” The group started off with six members, Siyoon, Tsuki, Suhyeon, Haram, Moon Sua and Haruna. After Mnet’s audition program “Girls Planet 999” (2021) ended, Sheon also joined the group.

The seven-member girl group will release its fourth EP "the Billage of perception: chapter three" with its lead track "Eunoia" on Tuesday.
