Prosecutors raid police agency for information on Itaewon crowd crush
Prosecutors raided the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on Monday in the latest move in the investigation of the Itaewon crowd crush from last October.
The Seoul Western District Prosecutors' office sent investigators to the city police's situation room in Jung District, central Seoul, to secure intranet messenger data.
Prosecutors suspect Itaewon police authorities may have made false reports on how they dealt with police calls during the incident that took 158 lives.
