BTS member Suga will release his first official solo album “D-Day” on April 21, his agency BigHit Music announced Monday.

“D-Day” will be Suga's first official solo album release and the final release from Suga’s Agust D trilogy, following the release of two mixtapes, “Agust D” (2016) and “D-2” (2020).

“With Suga involved in the lyrics writing and production of all the tracks included in the album, he will be telling his honest stories in ‘D-Day,’” the agency explained.

A song from the album will be released in advance on April 7.

Agust D, Suga’s second stage name, is an anagram of “D tsugA” which refers to “Daegu town Suga,” or Suga from his hometown Daegu. The two mixtapes released under the stage name Agust D were released on Soundcloud in 2016 and 2020 free of charge.

On Friday, Disney+ and Weverse announced the documentary “Suga: Road to D-Day,” without revealing the release dates.

Suga is planning to embark on his first solo world tour, “Agust D Tour” starting April 26 with performances in the United States.
