(G)I-DLE to release sixth EP 'I feel' on May 15
Girl group (G)I-DLE will release its sixth EP “I feel” on May 15, with lead track “Queencard,” written and produced by member Soyeon, announced its agency CUBE Entertainment on Monday.
The tracklist was released on Monday and revealed that the EP will contain six tracks, “Queencard,” “Allergy,” “Lucid,” “All Night,” “Paradise” and “Early Adult.”
Members of (G)I-DLE have participated in the production of all six tracks, with Soyeon involved in “Queencard,” “Allergy,” “Lucid” and “Early Adult” (translated), Minnie composing and writing lyrics for “Lucid” and “All Night,” and Yuqi working on “All Night” and “Early Adult.”
A concept photo released on the same day showed the members posing against a pink-themed Y2K background, giving a glimpse into the concept of the upcoming album.
(G)I-DLE debuted as a six-member girl group in May 2018. Following school bullying allegations against its member Soojin, CUBE made the decision to terminate its exclusive contract with her and continue (G)I-DLE’s activities as a group of five.
Currently consisting of Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua, the girl group is known for its hits — mostly composed and produced by the leader Soyeon — “Latata” (2019), “Lion” (2020), “DUMDi DUMDi” (2020), “Tomboy” (2022) and “Nxde” (2022).
