Korea reports 20,197 new Covid-19 cases Wednesday

Korea reported 20,197 new Covid-19 cases Wednesday, up 3,800 from the same day the previous week, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
It was the first time in 91 days for the number of cases to exceed 20,000.
The number of critically ill patients stood at 142, and 8 deaths were reported.
The cumulative number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Korea is 31,212,598.
