An Asiana Airlines flight that took off from Jeju Island landed at Daegu International Airport with one of its emergency exits open on Friday.

The OZ8124 flight carrying 194 passengers left Jeju International Airport at 11:49 a.m. and landed at Daegu with one emergency exit open at 12:45 p.m. the same day.

No major casualties were reported. But nine were sent to the hospital for shortness of breath.

The Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency apprehended a man in his 30s who allegedly opened the door intentionally after the flight started to land on the runway. The police are currently investigating him for violating the Aviation Act.

“We are in the process of confirming the accident with the airline,” a Daegu International Airport spokesperson told the Korea JoongAng Daily.
