BTS will release the single "Take Two" on Friday to celebrate its 10-year debut anniversary.
"The title of the upcoming single, 'Take Two,' refers to the 'second chapter of BTS,' that the boy band plans to continue," BTS's agency BigHit Music said in a press release Friday.
"It is also a message of gratitude to its fans for supporting the band and that they wish to continue the journey together."
Produced by Suga and written by RM and J-Hope, the song features BTS's vocals and rap mixed with acoustic tunes.
Throughout the week, members of the boy band each released film-like teaser images showing a place where they have fond memories. RM shared photos of the Dia Beacon museum in upstate New York; Jin shared photos of the coast of Los Angeles; Suga, scenes from his concert; J-Hope, photos of the Brooklyn Bridge; Jimin, photos from a studio; V photos from a yacht in Mexico and Jungkook a photo of the sunset in Qatar.
BTS announced a series of festivals to celebrate its 10-year debut anniversary. Titled "2023 BTS Festa," the celebration event will see Seoul's major landmarks turning purple starting June 12 to June 25, alongside a big festival on June 17 at the Yeouido Hangang Park, featuring BTS exhibitions, RM's special live show and a fireworks show.
