Le Sserafilm to drop original song for SBS animation

Girl group Le Sserafim will drop "Guardian," an original song for the soundtrack of the SBS animation "Bastions" on Friday.

"The track will feature sensual yet simple sound, mixed with the messages that Le Sserafim wishes to convey," Thymos Media, distributor for "Bastions," said that the highlight of the song will be its chorus where all five members of the girl group sing together.

"Guardian" will be the last original song for "Bastions," which will air its last episode on Sunday.

The soundtrack for "Bastions" featured big names in K-pop, including BTS, BB Girls, AleXa, Seo J, Heize and rookie singer Kang Min-seo.

The lead track, "The Planet," was sung by BTS, while girl group BB Girls, formerly Brave Girls, sang "Shiny World."

“Bastions” is a 3D action-hero animation produced by Nable Communications and Jo Buem-jin who is an award-winning animation director known for his 2006 work, “Aachi & Ssipak,” an X-rated black-comedy animation aimed at the adult demographic. The plot revolves around rookie heroes named Bastions who are trying to find the villains causing environmental pollution to fight them.

Thymos Media is an entertainment corporation that specializes in producing and distributing animations.
