GS subsidiary wins rental modular house deal in Britain

The project, dubbed Camp Hill, is the largest modular housing project in Britain with a total of 550 rental housing units and commercial facilities in Birmingham.
Scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026, Camp Hill is a build-to-rent redevelopment project led by British real estate developer Goodstone Living.
Elements Europe will erect steel modules for the rental buildings by assembling 1,100 self-designed, ready-made modules at the construction site located a mile away from Birmingham city center. This fabrication method allows the company to reduce the pollution and noise that normally accompanies a construction site.
“We will expand our presence in the modular business, which is expected to grow continuously worldwide, by successfully completing Britain’s largest modular housing project,” GS E&C President Huh Yoon-hong said.
