Danish pop band Lukas Graham, known for its global hit “7 Years,” will hold a solo concert in Korea on Oct. 24.
The concert will take place at the Yes 24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, eastern Seoul, organizer ualive announced Thursday. The band’s first solo concert in Korea was held in January 2019, and it has also performed at the Jisan Valley Rock Festival in 2017 and the Have A Nice Trip Festival in July.
Formed in Copenhagen, Denmark, Lukas Graham is led by vocalist Lukas Forchhammer and includes drummer Mark Falgren and bassist Magnus Larsson.
The band’s eponymous debut album “Lukas Graham” topped the Danish album charts for 15 consecutive weeks, and its second album, “Blue Album” (2015), included international hits such as “Mama Said,” “Strip No More” and “7 Years.”
“7 Years” topped global music charts, including the U.K. Singles Chart, and recorded No. 1 in 13 countries while being nominated for three categories at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
Earlier this year, Lukas Graham collaborated with R&B singer Khalid on “Wish You Were Here” and worked with rapper G-Eazy on “Share That Love.” Both songs are included in the band’s fourth studio album, “4 (The Pink Album).”
Tickets for Lukas Graham’s solo concert in October can be pre-purchased through the ualive app beginning at noon on Wednesday, while regular tickets will be available from 6 p.m. on Sept. 21 via Yes24’s website.
