Everland to open Fu Bao pop-up at The Hyundai Seoul

A pop-up store for Everland's most popular panda, Fu Bao, will open on Nov. 9 at The Hyundai Seoul department store in Yeongdeungpo District, western Seoul.

The pop-up store, running under the theme of "Fu Bao's Happy Home," will feature over 100 types of merchandise, including blankets, stationery and plushies.

In collaboration with the fast fashion brand "8 Seconds," operated by Samsung C&T, Everland's parent company, the store will also carry Fu Bao-themed clothes, such as shirts and pajamas.

"Due to the rising demand of 'panda fans' who love Fu Bao and her family, requests for opening a pop-up store have surged in social media, and we have decided to inaugurate one," Everland said.

Fu Bao pop-up store will be available from Nov. 3 through Naver's reservation system. Walk-in reservations will also be available from Nov. 14 to 16 and 20 to 22.

This is the first pop-up store for Everland, a resort in Yongin, Gyeonggi, known for its theme parks and safari.

Everland's Panda World is one of its most popular attractions. Ever since the 2016 arrival of Le Bao and Ai Bao, followed by the birth of daughter Fu Bao in 2020 and now the birth of baby twin pandas this July, Panda World has become even more popular, according to Everland.
