BTOB decides to not renew contract with Cube Entertainment

The members of boy band BTOB did not renew their exclusive contracts with their agency Cube Entertainment, the agency announced Monday, ending the 11-year relationship between the band and agency.
“We held thorough discussions with each member before the end of their second exclusive contracts,” Cube Entertainment said in a press release. “As a result, both parties agreed to not renew the contracts.”
“We truly support and root for the future and growth of the members even though our journey with them has ended,” the agency added.
"We also would like to show our gratitude toward the boy band's fans for supporting BTOB."
BTOB debuted in March 2012 under Cube Entertainment. The boy band had six members: Seo Eun-kwang, Lim Hyun-sik, Yook Sung-jae, Lee Chang-sub, Lee Min-hyuk and Peniel. It's known for hit songs such as "Missing You" (2017), "Only One for Me" (2018) and "Beautiful Pain" (2018). It released its 12th EP “Wind and Wish” on May 2.
