Construction collapse in Gyeongju kills two workers, injured six

Two people died and six were injured after a bridge under construction in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang, collapsed on Monday.

According to the fire department, the bridge being built at a reservoir collapsed at 11:09 a.m.

Eight of the 12 people who were working on the bridge fell.

One worker in his 50s and another in his 60s were killed.

Six others were injured. including a worker in his 60s who broke his leg.

The injured workers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
