Three were exposed to the gas while doing work on an elevator at the station.
According to subway operator Seoul Metro, the leak occurred at the station's electrical substation.
Seoul Metro sent out a warning message around 9:40 a.m. that trains will not stop by the station due to the toxic gas.
The station resumed its operation at 10:26 a.m.
Bokjeong Station is located at the southern end of Songpa District, near the border with Seongnam, Gyeonggi.
Recently, a dozen or so people were injured in an escalator accident at Gyeongbokgung Station after it went reverse.
The escalator malfunction is believed to have been caused by an erosion in the gear that decelerates the escalator. The gear hasn't been replaced since 2010.
