The man was found dead in a parked vehicle with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Guam Police Chief Stephen Ignacio said at a press conference on Tuesday.
His alleged getaway driver was arrested in a game arcade.
According to Guam's KUAM News, both were found in Yona, 30 minutes away from Tumon by drive, where the Korean national was killed.
The Guam police also found a gun in the parked vehicle. They will look into whether the gun was used to kill the Korean victim.
The victim and his wife encountered an armed robber on Thursday between 7:40 p.m. and 8 p.m. while heading back to their hotel in Tumon, Guam, according to the police.
They were approached by a dark-colored SUV from behind. The robber got out of the car and asked them for their belongings.
When the man resisted, the gunman shot him.
The Korean victim was taken to hospital but died on Friday.
The Guam police offered a $50,000 bounty for information or clues about the suspects on Friday. They received a tip on Tuesday that helped their investigation.
The alleged getaway driver had been arrested for assault and misdemeanor in the past. The dead suspect had a criminal record of possessing drugs with an outstanding warrant, according to KUAM News.
