Korean and Japanese markets soared after the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite hit fresh all-time highs on Friday. The Kospi jumped 1.21 percent on Monday as foreigners extended their buying streak to seven consecutive sessions, with technology and financial shares leading the overall rise. Japan's Nikkei 225 on the same day closed above 40,000 to set a new record high. [YONHAP]
