Seventeen will release a compilation album of hits titled “17 Is Right Here” on April 29, the band announced over the weekend.
A teaser video for “17 Is Right Here,” made up of illustrations of the band’s previous albums drawn by artist Max Dalton, was uploaded to the band’s social media pages on Monday.
The news was first revealed during the band’s concerts over the weekend at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
The two concerts are part of Seventeen’s “Follow Again” encore tour, an extension of the band’s world tour, “Follow,” that ended on Jan. 21 in Macao. HYBE’s “The City” promotional project launched in tandem with the concerts featuring fireworks, cruises and exhibitions.
A total of around 56,000 fans attended the concerts, the band’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, said in a press release Monday. The shows opened with the song "Super."
Carat Time, a designated segment in the concert during which attendees sing, dance and shout fan chants along with the band’s biggest hits, took place at Seventeen’s concert for the first time, the agency said.
“We’re so glad to create memories with everyone,” the band said, according to Pledis Entertainment.
“We will make two comebacks this year, so look forward to them. We hope more of 'inimitable Seventeen’s Carats' can join in the future.”
Seventeen's fans are named Carat, and are referred to as "inimitable Seventeen's Carats" in the band's song "Shining Diamond" (2015).
The band will continue its “Follow Again” tour with concerts in Seoul on April 27 and 28, then in Osaka on May 18 and 19, and finally in Yokohama on May 25 and 26.
