KTX, SRT hit record number of passengers in Q1

The number of passengers for Korea's high-speed trains, the KTX and the Super Rapid Train (SRT), reached a new record for a first-quarter figure in the Jan-March period, according to the Korea Railroad Corporation and SR Coporation, the operator of the SRT.
 
The KTX bullet train had 19.3 million passengers in the first quarter this year, while the SRT had 6.4 million, both the highest quarterly figures for the Jan.-March period.
