Foreigners take part in a hangul competition at the National Folk Museum of Korea on Wednesday in Jongno District, central Seoul.
 
The hangul contest commemorated the 627th anniversary of the birth of King Sejong, who made the Korean writing system and is a highly respected figure in Korea.
 
The contestants were foreign students who came from 46 countries and attend Korean universities or language schools.
