New envoys welcomed

President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday received the diplomatic credentials of 15 newly appointed ambassadors from abroad.
 
They include two ambassadors from Thailand and Japan, as well as 13 nonresident ambassadors from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eswatini, Iceland, Suriname, Mauritius, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, 
Equatorial Guinea, Burundi, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mauritania and Niger.
 
Nonresident ambassadors are diplomats stationed in a third country while being accredited to South Korea.
