“NewJeans will be performing at seven universities over the course of a week to meet with as many people in diverse places as possible,” the agency said in a notice on Phoning, the girl group's fan communication app. “All the income will go to charity.”

The news comes two days after the girl group released its newest single, “How Sweet,” on Friday. The two-track compilation sold 810,000 copies of its physical CD just on its first day of release, according to market tracker Hanteo Chart.

“How Sweet” has been topping music charts in and outside of Korea, including Japan's Oricon Daily Single Ranking and China's QQ Music.

Meanwhile, ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin is engaged in an ongoing legal battle with HYBE. The girl group's agency is currently awaiting a ruling from the Seoul Central District Court on whether parent company HYBE will be able to exercise its voting rights, as majority owner, at a shareholders' meeting scheduled for Friday.
