Emart, a leading hypermarket chain, will close an hour later, at 11 p.m., starting Saturday.

This new measure comes a year after the company reduced its operating hours last April to cut costs and reduce expenditures on labor and electricity.

The new measure will be implemented at its 68 supermarkets across the country.
