The “Moon of Seoul,” a moon-shaped tethered balloon, made a test flight over Yeouido Park in western Seoul on Sunday.
Filled with helium gas, the balloon will undergo test flights through July and is scheduled to begin official operations in August.
The balloon is seen with the city's slogan, "Seoul, My Soul."
It can float up to 150 meters (492 feet) and accommodate up to 30 passengers, allowing them to enjoy the city's beautiful scenery for 15 minutes.
