Le Sserafim announces fourth EP 'Crazy' set for August release

Le Sserafim will release its fourth EP, “Crazy,” on Aug. 30, the girl group's agency Source Music said Monday.
 
The album is about “getting crazy with Le Sserafim,” said Source Music.

“Crazy” is Le Sserafim's first music release in over six months since their third EP, “EASY,” was released in February. "EASY" reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 album chart.  
 
Le Sserafim held its first-ever fan meet and greet in Japan, “Fearnada,” with events in four prefectures. The girl group visited Hyogo on June 29 and 30, Aichi on July 6 and 7, Kanagawa from July 13 to 15 and Fukuoka on Tuesday and Wednesday.
 
The girl group previously came under fire for its live performance at Coachella on April 13. Group member Sakura aggravated the situation with a message on Weverse on April 15, saying "not everyone can be perfect" after the performance.  
 
The album also comes amid the quintet's agency's legal battle with the CEO of its affiliate, girl group NewJeans' agency ADOR.
 
Source Music is undergoing a legal dispute with ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, with both parties accusing each other of trying to sabotage the debut of their respective girl groups, Le Sserafim and NewJeans.
 
Source Music filed a 500 million won ($366,800) lawsuit against Min for defamation and disruption of business on July 15. Min has warned of legal measures against Source Music in return on July 23.
