Korea's Jang Kook-hee and Kim Min-su failed to make the medal round of the skeet mixed team event Monday, finishing the qualification round in the middle of the pack and out of a spot in either the bronze or gold medal match, rounding out Korea's shooting schedule at the Paris Olympics.
Jang and Kim, both first-time Olympians, placed seventh out of a total 15 teams in the qualifiers, scoring a combined 144 points.
The four highest-scoring teams made it to a medal round, with the first and second place teams competing for gold and silver and the third and fourth place teams facing off for the final spot on the podium.
Italy came in first with 149 points, equalling the qualification round world record.
Neither Jang nor Kim made the finals of the their individual skeet competitions.
Monday was the final day of the Olympic shooting schedule. Korea's Cho Yeong-jae earlier added a silver medal to the team's haul in the 25-meter rapid fire pistol contest.
Korea won six medals across shooting in Paris, three gold and three silver.
