A notice promoting the use of Onnuri gift certificates is posted at a traditional market in Seoul on Sunday.
Onnuri gift certificates can be redeemed for discounts at traditional markets and small shops.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will sell Onnuri gift certificates at an additional discount starting Sept. 9.
Mobile and rechargeable card-type certificates will be sold at a 15 percent discount. Paper coupons will be 10 percent off.
