Korean forward Oh Hyeon-gyu scored his first goal for KRC Genk in his side’s 4-0 win over Dender in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.
Oh came on as a substitute in the 74th minute of the fixture at Cegeka Arena in Belgium and scored his team’s fourth goal in the 83rd minute to seal three points.
His first goal for Genk comes after joining the Belgian side from Scottish team Celtic in July ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
Oh, 23, spent an up-and-down 18-month spell in Scotland. He played as a regular pick until new manager Brendon Rodgers stopped playing him in February.
Oh has seen little playing time since joining Genk, however, only playing 55 minutes across six league matches with one goal and one assist under his belt.
The club will be back in league action in a match against Mechelen on Saturday. Genk sit at the top of the table with six wins, one draw and one loss as of Monday.
