Participants in the “Do It For Earth” festival create soap bubbles with bicycles in Gwanghwamun Square in Jongno District, central Seoul, on Tuesday.
 
The event, co-hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Kyobo Life Insurance and the Korea Environmental Conservation Institute, promoted environmental conservation practices Tuesday and Monday. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about carbon reduction and biodiversity, make reusable cups, play with eco-toys and more.
 
Singers Yunsae and Sung Hae-bin kicked off the schedule, with performances on the evening of Monday, while Tuesday featured an opening ceremony and lecture from neuroscientist Park Moon-Ho. Organizations including the National Institute of Ecology and the National Institute of Environmental Research participated in the event.
