Samyang Roundsquare, the parent company of Buldak Ramen maker Samyang Foods, hosted a “Sauce Exchange” event in front of the Flatiron Building in New York from Oct. 17 through the weekend.
Attendees can bring any sauce the brand called “old and boring” from their home to the event and exchange it for a range of Buldak sauces. Samyang said that some visitors traveled for more than five hours to attend the event, with thousands visiting on the first day alone.
