S-Oil CEO Anwar A. Al-Hejazi won top prizes in the brand strategy and oil industry categories, awarded to outstanding leaders by the government think tank Institute for Industrial Policy Studies (IPS), for the fifth year in a row, the refinery said Thursday.
The annual Korea CEO Hall of Fame awards evaluate the performance of domestic firms' CEOs in creative leadership and marketing activities that make their brands competitive.
S-Oil was recognized for creating value through its brand identity, integrated marketing communications, creating an innovative environment for workers and for leading communications between customers and the company, the firm said.
“This award resulted from the company’s efforts to actively respond to changes in the energy market as well as its authentic and creative marketing,” S-Oil said in a press release.
“We plan to further strengthen communication with our customers and continue our environmental, social and governmental management.”
