Housing transactions slow in September

Monthly housing transactions in Seoul fell below 10,000 cases in September, breaking its two-month streak above that number recorded in July and August, according to a report released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on Thursday.
 
The number of housing transactions all over Korea has also fallen for the second consecutive month after peaking in July. A total of 51,267 residences changed hands in September nationwide, down 15.5 percent from the month before. Of those transactions, 8,206 were in Seoul, down 25.3 percent on month from the 10,992 recorded in August.
