The inaugural festival celebrating the ubiquitous Korean staple from across South Jeolla runs through Sunday. The event features an zone where visitors can try making their own gimbap from the region's ingredients, a section tracing the history and process of seaweed harvesting and a shopping area where attendees can buy ingredients from the province.
