China to launch trial visa waiver program for S. Korean arrivals next week

China's foreign ministry said Friday that it plans to launch a trial visa waiver program for Korean arrivals starting next week, which will run through the end of next year.
 
Under the policy, Beijing will waive visa requirements for Korean visitors staying up to 15 days for business, tourism, family visits or transit starting next Friday.

The policy will also apply to arrivals from eight other countries, including Slovakia, Norway and Finland.
