Boy band NCT Wish will release its first Japanese EP “Wishlist” on Wednesday at 6 p.m., SM Entertainment said.
The album features seven tracks, including the lead single “Hello Mellow,” which delivers a message that even hardships and struggles eventually become treasured memories.
The Japanese version of “poppop,” the lead track from the group’s second Korean EP released last year, is also included on the new album.
With the release of its new EP, NCT Wish will hold its concert “Into the Wish: Our Wish” at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo on Saturday and Sunday.
NCT Wish made its official debut in 2024 with the single “Wish.” The band is a subunit of boy band NCT. The sextet has released songs “Hands Up” (2023), “Wish” (2024), “Songbird” (2024) and “Wishful Winter” (2024).
The band’s second EP, “poppop,” which was released in April 2025, sold over 1.33 million copies. It topped music charts on numerous streaming platforms including Apple Music Korea, Japan’s AWA and China’s QQ Music.
