Conclusion of Meetings Between NK and the US is a Chance
Lim Dong Won, presidential advisor for national security, predicted that if the meeting between North Korea and the US were to be concluded, this would be a turning point by in South Korea's dealings with the North.He said in a forum on September 10, 'South Korea's opinions are generally reflected in the ongoing meetings between the North and the US. Therefore, if they are successfully concluded, it will affect the relationship between the South and North affirmatively.'
He also confirmed once again that the government will maintain its 'sunshine policy' toward the North despite the North's recent missile launch.
