TI Bestows Han Koo Kang Award

America-based Texas Instrument(TI), one of the largest semiconductor and electronics companies, recently established the 'Han Koo Kang Award', named after a member of its Korean affiliate.
The award was established to honor the outstanding accomplishments of Kang Han Koo, vice president of TI Korea.
The first award was given to an American general manager whose significant contributions helped improve production operations in a U.S. factory. It is the first time that the multi-national company, founded in 1930, has set up an award to commemorate the dedication of a particular employee.
Tom Lou, president of TI, stated during the awards ceremony, 'Kang has accomplished much more in Korea than any other worker in TI's overseas production facilities.'
