A phone and video recorder all in one

Samsung Electronics said yesterday that it will introduce a mobile phone that is also a camcorder before the end of January. The mobile phone, which can be used as a 110,000-pixel digital camera or as a camcorder, is capable of recording video files of up to 20 minutes. The phone's screen has a thin film transistor-liquid crystal display, which supports 262,000 colors. The device will enable users to make phone calls while looking at the other caller's face. The company will also unveil two other gadgets in February that come with 300,000-pixel cameras. Those phones will support a digital zoom function for their minicameras, and will enable users to download and play video and audio files, although they will not be usable for video communication.
