&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Stage hands 2d to none

During a recent visit to SBS, I concluded that the people who make dramas deserve more recognition. I was fascinated by the many types of furniture and props used to make just one scene. I discovered that sets are constructed and taken apart daily to make new sets.
The people who construct the sets have to arrange everything from furniture to pencils. A closet used for a few scenes may take one year to make! I was surprised to find simple tricks in scenes, such as when a person breaks through glass or gets hit by a wooden stick.
I think Korea is doing a great job in terms of stage technology and deserves more credit.
