[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Where’s the follow-up?

Excellent article on child abuse (J-Style, May 29). Perhaps you can do a follow-up story on it. For example, why did the kindergarten teacher walk free? Why was he not charged? Did he go to trial? Why didn’t the charges stick? If he paid 50 million won, that is a sure sign the court found him guilty. So, why not criminal charges? As well, what is he doing now? Is he still working with children? Where? Can you trace his work places after that incident with the child? Perhaps he is still a danger to the community. Can you print his name?
I am a Canadian living in Seoul for eight years. Your article was impressive and badly needed.
