At a launching ceremony in Seoul yesterday, GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co. unveiled its latest small sedan, the 1,500 cubic centimer Gentra. At 4.31 meters (14.1 feet) long and 1.71 meters wide, the gasoline engine model is the largest sedan in its class. “The Gentra is a sophisticated bridge between small and mid-sized sedans,” said Nick Reilly, president of GM Daewoo. He also said the Gentra offers the power of medium sedans, designated as those that are 1,500cc or larger, with the fuel efficiency of smaller vehicles. The Gentra will begin retailing on Sept. 21, and will be priced from 8.54 million won ($8,330) to 10.2 million won depending on models and options. Provided by the company
