Samsung to supply German DMB firmKorean tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. said yesterday it plans to supply terrestrial-based digital multimedia broadcasting handsets to a German mobile service provider as part of efforts to boost commercial use of the service there. Starting next week, the phones will be supplied to debitel AG, a German mobile phone company with 10 million subscribers. The phones will allow users to watch TV broadcasts as well as facilitating two-way data transfers.
