[NOTICE]Online auction
Following the success of the charity flea markets around the nation in September, the JoongAng Ilbo launched an Internet auction Web site (http://beautiful.interpark.com) yesterday with Interpark, one of the country’s major online sellers. The auction invited 117 celebrities to raise charity funds, and sales will continue until Oct. 30. About 300 items donated by celebrities, including a tuxedo from maestro Chung Myung-hoon and a golf club from pro golfer Kim Mi-hyun, will be auctioned. Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Interpark will donate 98 percent of the proceeds, excluding the auction fee, to help the needy.
