South Korean President Lee Myung-bak follows U.S. President Barack Obama as Obama puts on his taekwondo moves Thursday after receiving a uniform for the Korean martial art from Lee before their luncheon. Obama learned taekwondo as a senator in Illinois. The Blue House presented Obama with a uniform along with a black belt and an honorary certification to commemorate his visit. By Cho Mun-gyu


19일 오찬에 앞서 이명박 대통령으로부터 태권도복을 선물받은 버락 오바마 미국 대통령이 태권도 정권지르기 시범을 보이자 이 대통령이 따라 하고 있다. 오바마 대통령은 과거 일리노이주 상원의원 시절 태권도를 배웠으며 청와대는 방한 기념으로 태권도복과 검은띠·명예단증 등을 선물했다. [조문규 기자]
