4th season for plastic surgery show

The Korean reality TV show “Let Me In” kicked off its fourth season yesterday with the original host, Hwang Shin-hye, and three new members, Lady Jane, Hong Ji-min and Mir from the boy group Mblaq.

The program, which launched in 2011, is a makeover show for women who have suffered physically and mentally due to their appearances. It provides the full support they need to go through plastic surgery.

Although there has been continuous criticism that the show encourages plastic surgery, its producer, Park Hyun-woo, said the show is not just about looking “beautiful” but about saving people whose physical problems ruin the quality of their lives.

The program airs every Thursday at 11 p.m. on StoryOn.
