Lee Kwang-soo to star in one-act drama

테스트

Pan-Asian actor Lee Kwang-soo will play the lead in the one-episode drama “Puck.”
King Kong Entertainment, the 30-year-old actor’s agency, said on Friday that Lee will act out the role of Cho Jun-man, a loan shark who later joins a college ice hockey club. As the cold-hearted man begins to play ice hockey, the drama portrays how he grows.
Lee is known for playing witty characters, but he will show a different side through this drama, the agency said.
The script for the drama won first prize in a contest organized by the Korean Olympic Committee earlier this year, and it will begin shooting next month.
Lee began his acting career in 2008, but he made a name for himself with the popular reality TV show “Running Man,” on which he is one of the regular guests.
Thanks to the huge popularity of the show in Asian countries, including China, Hong Kong and Thailand, Lee also has a wide fan base in those countries.
He recently starred in the film “Collective Invention” (2015) and the drama series “It’s Okay, That’s Love” (2014).
