NH offers fast currency trade for the dong and rupiah

NH Investment & Securities said on Monday that it started to offer a new Indonesian rupiah and Vietnamese dong exchange service. Customers using the service will be able to change their investment funds in one day rather than the normal three.

NH’s investors purchasing equity in the Southeast Asian countries had to wait three days for the transaction, but with the new service users can buy currency and stock in a day.

The brokerage explained that commission fees might be lowered, as the exchange will go directly between the currencies without an intermediary conversion to dollars.

Hwang In-gyu, head of global trading division at NH, said investors can now make timely investments.
