Lee Seung-gi, Suzy to star in drama

Actor Lee Seung-gi and Suzy’s upcoming drama series “Vagabond” will begin airing on Sept. 20, TV channel SBS announced on Friday.

Set to start airing after the ongoing drama series “Doctor John” airs its finale, the story is about a once-ordinary man (played by Lee) named Cha Dal-gun who lost his beloved nephew in a plane crash and his investigation into the real cause behind the accident that the government and rest of the country attempts to cover up. Suzy plays a NIS agent named Ko Hae-ri who struggles to choose between covering up or uncovering the truth.

Lee is a singer-turned-actor who starred in the 2018 SBS show “Master in the House,” which marked his return from his mandatory military service. Suzy most recently played the lead role in “While You Were Sleeping” (2017) on SBS.

The series will be made available on Netflix as well.
