[NOODLE] Noodle master behind glass is star of show
Hours of operation
Open 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Hapjeong-dong 370-8, Mapo-gu, Seoul
The star of the show at Kyodaiya is the udon master, dressed in priestly white, who works behind a glass panel rolling the dough and cutting it with rhythmic beats after every order. The noodles are served hot and cold with many accompaniments, like tempura. The udon is so springy and thick you can find yourself eating one noodle at a time.
